BITS AND PIECES 1

with less than 100 days before the election i've been ruminating (my one big word of the day) about how to express my frustrations with bits and pieces (hence the title) that come to the fore without going into full-blown rant mode every 24 hours....and quite often even more frequently.   so without further ado....

speaking of bits and pieces

this was the photo that graced the cover of the new york post, minus the headline and strategically placed little pink stars (substituting little blurry patches because, obviously they hide so much more).   in case you don't recognize her, that's melania pre-trump on the right.

the reason i bring this up is two-fold.   first, for years people on the right have been saying michelle obama lacks class, have been comparing her to an ape and even claiming she's not even really a woman while, at the same time, saying melania is what a real first lady looks like.   well, maybe not this melania because it's not like these pictures were taken just the day before yesterday.   after all they are 20 years old but it does give one the idea of why donald might have been attracted to her in the first place.   plus, he might also have been thinking he was getting a bargain 2-for-1 but that could be the topic for another discussion.

secondly, a certain conservative talking anus has said that the publication is bound to convert gays, but particularly those randy lesbians, to vote for her husband.   that's right, rush, because that's all we gays ever think about is sex.   and as a gay man that's certainly what i look for the first thing in the morning, photos of girl-on-girl action.

so, there we have it.  whether or not i try to limit my comments to one per day is something that remains to be see.   i guess it will all depend on how much stupidity or rank anger-inducing things present themselves over the coming days.   if the come in droves i might just have to decide if i have a limit on what my stomach or nerves can handle.  as i write i've already got a few lining up for my consideration.   ahhh, decisions, decisions.

sometimes i wonder if i gave up drinking too soon.
