BITS AND PIECES 13

well , whoopty-do and happy day.    donald trump graced milwaukee today with his radiant orange presence for an evening town hall-style meeting hosted by sycophant sean hannity.   it will apparently include appearances by mayor rudy and milwaukee's own sheriff dave (cowboy hay mandatory but i'll assume he'll be asked to leave his horse outside.  there'll be enough shit to track around without have to worry about horse-puckey being added to the mix).   and scotty, not having any previous engagements he can use as a convenient excuse, will also be in attendance to show his obeyance.   i hope he got his kneepads fluffed and picked up a fresh tube of chapstick.   when more details come to light i'll have to add those on later.

but earlier in the day he visited the war memorial and the milwaukee art museum.   the calatrava had it's wings unfurled for the visit which i'm suspecting was a prerequisite for the visit; that and timed for the brief moments this afternoon when the sun came out, by royal decree, i'm sure.   the crowd was minimal, to be generous and billed 'a meeting with veterans', of which i counted 8, ten at most.   it was hard to tell in the video because they kept moving around, perhaps to give the impression that there were more but that's just me being cynical.  one was quite obvious in his 'hillary for prison 2016' t-shirt.   after a brief photo-op session outside by the actual memorial during which each veteran got his chance (if they so wished) to get a pic of himself and trump and trump's ubiquitous 'thumbs up', everything seemed to quickly disperse.   and through it all, sheriff dave followed along like the obedient lapdog he is.

after this, trump and a small group including rudy and sheriff dave were paraded into a private room for what they called a private 'round table discussion', possibly just a code name for ass-kissing circle-jerk, but since reporters and photographers were almost immediately ushered out, whatever they talked about (if talking was really on the agenda.   i'm suspecting a ritual involving human sacrifice) will never be known.  let your imagination run wild but don't be asking me for any brain bleach.

anyway, that was then and this is now and until i get an update via print and video i'll have to leave it at that.   i'm looking forward to some exceptional quotes from all involved.
